About Us
Welcome to Toad Hill Gardens! We are a Bed & Breakfast in Northwest Kansas with a distinct interest in history (of Kansas, of our home!), hunting (we have access to hundreds of acres of prime hunting ground for pheasant, duck, geese, turkey and deer), gardening (we grow as much of our own floral products and food as possible), recipes (as a way to preserve our family and cultural history) and floral design (we do custom florals: fresh, dried and silk), and home design (products designed for energy efficiency, including roofing, siding, windows and even geothermal, solar and wind energy units). We are all about surviving these challenging economic , technical and nutritional times with grace and knowledge of what has worked for our ancestors, what conserves resources for the future of our planet.
Our Bed & Breakfast is targeted to the very popular fall hunting season, but we can also offer scenic and historical tours, antiquing and beer and wine tasting. We have reached a point in our lives where rest, relaxation and rejuvenation are our passions. We can help with a weekend away or a more detailed intervention with life and stress management skills that may include yoga, massage and exercise planning, nutritional advice, sound and aromatherapy.
